- Normal
Toy app. Multipurpose workbench for digital video file name normalization, metadata repair, encoding/subtitling, remuxing, organising. Back end written in Python, front end Javascript/HTML/CSS. Uses a densely tuned sequence of parsing, normalizing and serializing functions to acquire local media facts from .nfo and other file metadata without needing internet or API sources. Features a job queue and multi-stage planner for large, repeatable batch repairs
- Tiny Normal [planned]
A faster, smaller, non-toy Rust re-write of Normal that retains the planning stages and UI shell but reworks I/O heavy media fact finding to preference API sources, with slower parsing and serializing against local facts only when needed as a fallback or for confirmation.
- Layman Pages [planned]
A tldr-style educational terminal application designed to be used in conjunction with man and --help pages. Linux native, written in C.
AKA: GNU-Linux Man Pages For Dummies.
- Unnamed Project [mothballed]
A cross-platform educational application written in Javascript intended for use by people with intellectual disabilities to make their own 3D games with the assistance of AI. The core architecture of the program involves linking a pre-written, open source rendering engine (three-fps by Mohsen Heydari) to a library of creative commons glTF 3D models. The engine is provided with an adaptor harness that allows JSON packets to be passed from an in-session AI agent to the engine. This harness combined with the asset library and some custom logic for mapping world and object geometry allows for real-time modification of game physics and asset hotswapping, enabling highly accessible natural language game development at very low costs (~0.002 cents per API call using Haiku 4.5 via Openrouter).
